10 Days Scenic of China is a breathtaking journey to explore one of the most beautiful scenic cities in China. Travel to the capital city of Beijing, the ancient capital of Xian, the beautiful Guilin with cruise along the picturesque UNESCO-listed Li River and China’s modern and largest city, Shanghai. Visit four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including one of the grandest archeological excavations, the Terra Cotta Warriors, and an opportunity to explore the Forbidden City and climb the monumental Great Wall of China. From Guilin City to Yangshuo County is like an artist’s masterpiece. The landscape is decorated with startling hills, steep cliffs, fantastic caves and farming villages, and is lined with bamboo.

DAY 1 – ARR. BEIJING (-)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Meet your experienced local guide and transfer to the hotel. Check in at your hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

DAY 2 – BEIJING (B,L,D)

Full day visit the Temple of Heaven, an important site for the emperor worship, the largest square in the world – Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, where the last emperor resided. Enjoy a national dish, Peking Duck dinner as a welcome dinner.

DAY 3 – BEIJING (B)

Climb the Great Wall of China. The 4,000-mile long and 2,000 years old construction is said to be the only man-made structure visible from the moon. Pass by 2008 Olympic Sites.

Evening, enjoy dinner at your own leisure.

DAY 4 – BEIJING TO XIAN (B)

Morning, explore the Summer Palace, an ancient royal resort. Cruise on the Kunming Lake. Fly to Xian, an ancient capital of China.

DAY 5 – XIAN (B,L)

Enjoy a full day excursion to the Eighth Wonders of the World, Terra Cotta Warriors Museum and visit the City Wall, the best reserved ancient military system. You will have a special dumpling lunch today. Explore some unique snacks at the Muslim Quarter.

DAY 6 – XIAN TO GUILIN (B,D)

Fly to Guilin, a beautiful scenic city of China. Check in and relax at your hotel.

DAY 7 – GUILIN (B)

Full day Li River Cruise. Li River is also the soul of Guilin scenery. Along the beautiful Li River and explore the luscious Chinese countryside. Enjoy lunch on board. Arrive in Yangshuo and explore the famous West Street. West Street is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. Over the last 20-some years, West Street has become a meeting place for eastern and western cultures, and the biggest ‘foreign language center’ in China. Return to Guilin.

DAY 8 – GUILIN TO SHANGHAI (B)

Early morning, fly to Shanghai, also known as “Paris in the East.” Explore the past, present and future of Shanghai by walking along the Bund. Continue to Yu Garden with its largest outdoor bazaar . Learn about the silk weaving at the Silk weaving workshop. Chinese silk is one of the best souvenirs to bring home. Pass by the beautiful French concessions and the People square. Enjoy a farewell dinner.

DAY 9 – SHANGHAI (B)

Full day free at leisure or join an optional tour to Suzhou, “Venice of the East” and best known as the Garden City of China.

DAY 10 – SHANGHAI DEPT. (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to home.
